Multilayer Farm · Calendar
Each floor starts paying at a different time, so cash never dries up between sowing and the big harvest. Month 1 is the month you plant.
Three moments
In the base case, cumulative cash turns positive, set-up included, around month 9–10.
First coriander and methi cut. From now Step 1 pays every Monday.
First bitter gourd picks. Vegetable kilos double and the Step 2 bonus adds on.
Turmeric or ginger comes out, and papaya fruit if you chose it. This is Step 3.
The calendar
Choose drumstick (4a) or papaya (4b). Greens are sown every 10 days while the rhizome canopy is open, and again after the rhizome is dug.
When to start
Pilot clusters open from Rabi 2026–27, which suits Start B. Your Kendra confirms the window after the soil test and your water check.
| Start window | What goes in first | Why |
|---|---|---|
| A · Pre-monsoon, April–June | All four floors together | Rhizomes need the warm, wet season to size up; gourd and the top floor establish before heavy rain. Raised beds are a must. |
| B · Winter phase, October–December | Greens and the top floor first; add rhizome and bitter gourd in March–May | Coriander loves cool weather. Bitter gourd stalls below about 20 °C, and rhizomes want the warm season. |
